San Francisco Professional Career Network
Back by popular demand! And at the best possible time - between holidays, with the time and space to reflect and create the best new year possible. The new year is a time of renewal and hope - to look with fresh eyes at what you have done in 2013 (so far), where and whom you want to be, and to charter your course to take you there. We start with quarterly goals for Q1 - what will you draw into your life? Will you continue (or begin) to create your new story? Will you renew your commitment to live this year from a purposeful and authentic place? Will you live this year rather than let it live you? How can you make the next few months exceptional, knowing you know you gave it your full measure? SFPCN Coach Josephine Bellaccomo (MOVE THE MESSAGE Training & Consulting) will lead the group in a 75-minute practical workshop that will include tools and techniques focused on what makes goals stick, insights and tactics from thought leaders Dan & Chip Heath, self-exploration writing (you may want to bring a journal or planner), and goal-setting for 2014. This workshop opportunity focuses on setting your course thoughtfully and powerfully for the start of the year. Come away with a clear direction and goals to match your vision. Engage and deepen your relationships with your SFPCN community as we explore, challenge, and set the course for your success 2014. See you on Tuesday! Program Schedule We begin networking at 9:00 am. The program begins at 9:30 am and finishes by 11:00 am. You can stay and network with the speaker and your peers up to 11:30 am. $2.00 donation requested. Mass Transit / Parking The BART 16th & Mission station is a short two block walk from our location. The MUNI Market & Church Street station is four blocks away. Inexpensive parking can be found at the Hoff Street Garage, 42 Hoff Street, San Francisco. Valencia Gardens' parking is restricted to its residents. Parking within its lot by non residents will result in your vehicle being towed at your expense.
Shut Up & Write! SF Bay Area
Join me at Rigolo Cafe for an hour of writing in the morning.

I'm going with the "build it, and they will come," approach. As well as the "I live waaay out here, there must be other writers who live waaaay out here, also" approach.

Really though, it's not that far. Rigolo Cafe is in Laurel Village. The MUNI Bus lines 1, 2, 3, 33, 38, 43 stops are all within walking distance. There is free parking in the Laurel Village parking lot behind the Cafe if you drive.
Rigolo Cafe has great light and a nice bustle to it. Not too loud. Excellent food, coffee is passable, plenty of space, lots of outlets, and free WIFI.
We'll gather at 8:45 to get set up and make introductions, write for an hour starting at 9am, and then those who care to can share their experience. Of course, you're welcome to continue writing, but I have a day job that I'll need to get back to.
Hope to see you there!
